Elementary Dance

for dancers aged 8 - 11

Level Up!

If you have a child aged between 8 and 11 who is passionate about dancing, then our Elementary dance classes are a great way for them to enhance their dance skills in various genres.

Our programs are tailored to assist students in improving their fundamental skills and gradually developing their abilities and self-confidence to perform more complex sequences, which include choreography.

This class is designed for dancers to learn and develop the classic aspects of jazz dance, including body isolations, quick footwork, and bold shapes. The focus is on dynamic movements, flexibility, and body control while performing choreographed routines.

This classical art form helps develop body control, spatial awareness, and skills that enhance strength, flexibility, and endurance. It emphasizes maintaining a good posture and alignment.

Our program is designed to help students move through different levels, gradually building their skills and confidence to perform more complex sequences, including classical choreography.

Students are taught the essential techniques of classical modern dance styles, which form the foundation of contemporary dance. As they gain mastery of these techniques, they are encouraged to develop their own unique style and artistic expression.

Improvisation plays a crucial role in this process, helping students to explore their creativity and find inspiration for their choreography. By learning how to improvise effectively, students develop greater confidence in their abilities and gain a deeper understanding of the art of dance.

Tap Sound Expression

These classes aim to improve students’ ability to differentiate between sounds, develop neat rhythms, and learn increasingly complex combinations. Students will develop a solid foundation in tap dance to perform a range of routines with confidence and skill.
