GMB Dance wants families and dancers to feel comfortable using the scholarship program.

Dance has always been an essential part of my life. I have always felt my most authentic self while dancing. Whether in class, on stage, or in my own home, dance has provided a safe and healthy outlet for whatever I have found myself going through.

There is a cost, of course, that comes with formal dance training. Payment is required for the space we use to practice, the music we play, our clothes, and the instruction. When there is a chance to perform on stage for an audience, the cost rises to include suitable venues, costumes and props.

I acknowledge, with such respect, every Person supporting themselves or their Dancer in the pursuit of their passion.

The Scholarship Program sees funds going directly to the cost of tuition for any student in need.

A Dancer may receive a scholarship after applying and meeting the following criteria:

The Dancer has demonstrated commitment to studying dance for more than two consecutive sessions, displaying solid and consistent attendance records.
The Dancer demonstrates discipline and focus in class.
The Dancer exhibits excellent personal progress.
The Dancer shows a positive attitude towards teachers and classmates.
The Dancer displays an obvious passion and love for dance.
The Person responsible for payment indicates financial support would be conducive to continuing the Dancer's study.

How to receive

If you would like to be considered for a Scholarship, please complete this scholarship application form.

On your application, you will be asked to provide the amount ($) that you would like to receive from GMB Dance to subsidize dance classes.

You can renew that request every session or modify it depending on your need.
