Demonstration Classes

All demonstrations take place on regular class days during regular class times at the end of Session 1 and Session 3

Session 1 | Monday, October 21 - Thursday, October 24, 2024
Session 3 | Monday, February 24 - Thursday, February 27, 2025

What are Demonstration Classes?

Dancers spend hours in the studio honing their skills, and although there is satisfaction in learning the technique for oneself, dance is a performing art, and at its heart, it craves an audience.

But not every performance needs the bright lights of the stage, and not everything shared needs to be polished to perfection; there is merit in having others witness the rehearsal and even the moments of learning.

As we welcome you into the classroom to see the many new skills discovered and strengthened over a session, we are very excited about your encouragement and support. But please remember, although learning the art of performance is part of dance training, it can be a little nerve-wracking when real live people are watching!

Here are a few notes for facility etiquette.

Please

  • Remove your shoes before entering the gymnasium or dance hall.

  • Try to keep photo or video taking focused on your dancer.

  • Be generous with your praise - we love lots of applause!
